You’re eligible for a no-cost upgrade from natural gas to modern all-electric appliances. Powerful Neighborhoods, a PG&E program, covers all costs— up to $40,000 per home—including appliances and installation.

Depending on your home’s needs, your personalized upgrade plan may include:
- Heat pump – Efficient heating and cooling in one

- Heat pump clothes dryer – Gentle, energy-efficient clothes drying
- Home weatherization – Insulation and duct sealing
- Electrical upgrades – Panel and wiring modernization as needed
All work is completed by licensed contractors and is inspected for safety and quality. The Powerful Neighborhoods team will support you through every step during the process.
WHAT TO KNOW
The process
Check your eligibility online or meet with an Electric Coach to learn about the program and ask questions in person.
If eligible, your Electric Coach will schedule a home energy assessment to see which upgrades you qualify for.
Review and approve your customized upgrade plan before your project begins.
A contractor installs your selected upgrades at no cost, while you sit back and let the energy savings roll in.
